What information helps you find me on a highway?
The highway name and direction (for example 401 eastbound), the nearest exit or interchange, and whether you are on the shoulder, a ramp or the median.
Should I stay in my car?
If it is safe to leave the vehicle, wait behind a barrier, away from traffic. If you cannot get out safely, keep your seatbelt on and hazard lights on, and call 911 if you are in danger.
